Our agency provides emergency homeless shelter services among two shelters with one housing single men and the other women and families. In our fiscal year 2017, we sheltered 410 people including 156 single men, 114 single women, 46 families and 85 children. Our shelters provide safe housing, food, personal necessities, and programs targeted toward helping our residents achieve self- sufficiency.

Heart of Ohio Homeless Shelter is a private non-profit agency that operates two distinct emergency homeless shelters in Marion, Ohio. Our primary geographical service areas include Crawford, Delaware, Marion, Morrow, Union, and Wyandot counties. The goal of our program is to help those who are homeless become self-sufficient. Residents participate in a process to accomplish this goal.
