Our agency provides emergency homeless shelter services among two shelters with one housing single men and the other women and families. In 2013, we sheltered 528 people including 182 single men, 104 single women, 69 families and 123 children. Our shelters provide safe housing, food, personal necessities, and programs targeted toward helping our residents achieve self- sufficiency. In fact, over 360 left our program successfully acquiring permanent housing. Since the beginning of this year, we have added volunteer chaplains who work with our residents on an individual basis attending to their spiritual needs.
